A Colaba Causeway, officially known as Shahid Bhagat Singh Road is a commercial street. The causeway was constructed by the British East India Company during the tenure of Sir Robert Grant as the governor of Bombay and its construction was completed in 1838. There is no entry fee to visit Colaba Causeway. Sidewalk shops open at 10 AM and function until 10 PM. If you visit any nearby location then don’t forget to brew in the Restaurant Cafe Leopold’s if you are a beer lover.
How to Reach?
It is located in South Mumbai near Regal Cinema. If you are traveling from Suburb then you can get down at Churchgate station which is in western line, either pick a cab or travel by bus and get down to Colaba causeway market. The bus ride takes hardly 5-10 minutes from the Churchgate railway station.
